The article tells the rise to prominence in the 1960s of Bob, who adopted his alias following a difficult relationship with his father. He went on to race The Freight Train twin engined gas dragster, racking up a large number of victories. When his dad found out the true identity of  Floyd Lippencott Jr., he disowned Bob for the rest of his life.
